Hi! I'm Savannah Russe. I'm a full-time novelist currently working on a six-book paranormal romance series called The Darkwing Chronicles. The series depicts the very sexy adventures of a contemporary vampire spy. I have always been intrigued by vampires, beginning when I first encountered Bram Stoker's Dracula as a teen. The delicious thrills of that book turned to real fear when when I first saw the 1922 classic film Nosferatu. And that's when my imagination went to work about what if... what if vampires were real...and I began to write stories that suggest perhaps they are...

To me, writing is an obsession, not a profession. I began writing as a child and have never stopped. For many years, I made my living as a professional copywriter, but even then I always wrote stories, mostly ones that brought my dreams to life.

Now, to relieve the very solitary existence of being a writer, I am also a certified personal property appraiser and operate an antique barn on my farm in the Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania. Also on the farm are eleven cats, two dogs, wild bunnies, deer, foxes, wild turkeys . . . and of course bats. They make me feel so much at home....
